THE ESTATE OF DORIA-DERNOLOVICH

The main decoration of the regional center is the estate of the Doria-Dernolovichs "Stefanovo-Sarsk", or rather, what is left of it. You can still see the park and outbuildings, including the building of a former starch factory converted into a distillery. The manor house, built at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries in the style of classicism, has been well preserved due to the fact that an orphanage was located within its walls, and then a school. Today this building is used as a warehouse.
